We are all Nature
Know to Love. Love to Act. Since 2000, Fundación Cambugán has been working to care for and restore the bonds among people, communities and nature.
We do this through training, scientific research, support for the alternative economy of local communities, protection of native ecosystems, promotion of sustainable landscapes, participatory ecological recovery and restoration.
What moves us
We are moved by the need to build new forms of relationship and coexistence with our environment, aware of the loss of native ecosystems and their biodiversity, the climate emergency, persistent poverty and the difficulty of consolidating fair and environmentally responsible institutions for the care of Mother Nature.

History
The Foundation supports the conservation of about 9000 hectares of cloud forest, low montane, high Andean and paramo, located in the basins of the Cambugán and Pamplona Rivers, located in the northwest of the Province of Pichincha. We support the formation and strengthening of the agroecological network of producers and consumers Mushuk Tukuy (which in the Kichwa language means to be reborn); we have the San Isidro demonstration farm in the parish of Píntag (south of Quito). We promote strategic alliances for the development of innovative and environmentally friendly economic activities, with the participation of producers and entrepreneurs from inside and outside the territory.
